Hello from southeastern SD!
THANK YOU to Darlene and her staff for a wonderful
conference. I also want to congratulate Russ, Tony, Renee and John on stepping
up a position on the SDAAO executive board and Rownea on her newly elected
position as treasurer. There will be many great conferences to come in the
future.
It’s time get the building
permits up to date; analyze your data for reappraisal projects; and possibly
preparing yourselves for OHE or circuit court. If you need help or have
questions please contact your field staff.
Once again this year, I would recommend mid year audits. I
definitely could tell from the 2006 audit season to the 2007 audit season what a
difference mid year audits make. Not only did we keep Wendy current, but most
counties were well prepared for year end audits. Please contact Wendy or myself
it you would like a mid year audit.
There is still traveling to be done, sales ratio workshops,
USPAP course, NCRAAO and IAAO conferences. If you have a question on dates,
times or travel accommodations, please call. Remember “the
