To SDAAO Members; 

It is truly an honor and privilege to serve as your President of such a professional group as SDAAO. 

This past year and upcoming year has been and will likely be sort of tumultuous with the upcoming change to ag productivity.  There is good and bad with all changes and we need to work even harder to stay professionally involved with our legislators and taxpayers.  This is by no means a perfect system and I am sure it will be tweaked along the way.  One good point is that it has caused most of us to take a second look at our ag values and any adjustments that were on the books. 

I hope to see you during this next year with school in Rapid City and conference in Mitchell. 

I will try to get more people involved with the association.  So do not be surprised if I ask for expanded reports at our business meeting or for other discussions.
