IN MINNEHAHA COUNTY

Hello, I’m Duane King, and I am happy to be a new member of
the Minnehaha County Equalization Office. This is a new adventure for me,
having been an electronics tech for the past 11 years, but the staff are great
and have been taking good care of me ( so far ). I like being outdoors,
tinkering with things, and spending time with my wife and 2 daughters. With
conferences and school coming up, I’ll see ya out there!

In Custer County

Shannon Faith, Administrative Assistant
My family and I recently moved to Custer from Montrose,
Colorado for my husband’s job as a Wildland Firefighter. We have 2 boys ages 10
and 2. We really enjoy the outdoors, hiking, biking and camping.
My new job here with the department of equalization is
totally new to me, because for the last 8 years I have been in the cosmetology
industry or working with the public in a retail environment. I am excited to see
where this job leads and so far (this being my first day) it’s been a great
experience
