WorkshopsDirectors of Equalization and Equalization Staff attending the 2008 SchoolThe 2008 school registration form stated that there will be a general meeting on Monday, September 15th at 4:30 PM. It was noted that this would not count as a workshop. Since that time however, we have decided that the approximately 1 ˝ hour meeting WILL COUNT AS A WORKSHOP FOR RECERTIFICATION.The reason for the change is that SDAAO President Russ Ronke has invited Loraine Polak from the South Dakota Housing Development Authority to speak to the group. Her agenda will include discussion on SDHDA policies with financing, tax credits, HUD section 8, and Supreme Court Case review. She will also take time to answer your questions.This will be an informative, helpful and easy way to get a workshop credit. Russ would encourage all the Directors and their staff to attend this session.
